Ruaridh Mollica on VISIONQUEST identities
by Murphy Popcorn 🎪: Ruaridh Mollica
The whole of VISIONQUEST comes down to humanity, identity and self-acceptance, and Ruaridh Mollica says that arc is what pulls the thing forward. He explains that Thomas Shepherd and Tommy Maximoff had to be handled as separate identities at the start, since the story needed that clashing "Who am I?" setup with all the fighting and struggling that comes with it. From there, the journey is those two identities coming together and accepting that his father is the Vision. #RuaridhMollica

Kind of at the start separate. I think you had to at the start have it as separate kind of identities because it needs to be this clashing like who am I scenario and you're really fighting and struggling with that. And I think, I mean, like you said, the whole show is about humanity and identity and self-acceptance and the journey of the show is really is those coming together and accepting, you know, that my father is the vision.
