The finance commission of an entire city, represented in a photo-op with masked black bloc-style protesters. Allan Brunon, an elected LFI official, is the man smiling beside them in Grenoble, and minutes afterward some of those same demonstrators allegedly went through a Crédit Agricole branch. Oliver's framing of the sequence is the one that sticks: a finance official posing with people in masks while a bank gets wrecked. The setup is almost too absurd to describe, and yet there it is. What exactly is the defense supposed to be here?
