Disgust is what Estella Patterson says she felt, and the Charlotte force gave her reason. Years of racist group texts among three officers, per an investigation, and a reported contest over who could stop the most Black drivers. Those three resigned. Investigators are still working on three others who went through the academy with them, and the FBI is reviewing whether civil rights violations apply. M&M News

Charlotte officers resign over racist text messages. Three Charlotte police officers resigned after an investigation uncovered years of racist group text messages. Reports say the officers competed over who could pull over the most black drivers. Three more officers from the same class are still under investigation and the FBI is looking into possible civil rights violations. the police chief estella patterson said her reaction was disgust uh yes this was circulating um why not post the names and photos that's rough so yeah that that came out found that to be interesting you know so So what specifically happened? They were creating competitions about who could pull over the most black people. Yeah, I saw a different, I saw a rest, but this one says pull over. But yeah, so they were competing. And apparently it was something to do with like flock cameras that like ended up having this stuff being leaked. Like, I don't really know something about that. But that what I saw So anyways yeah Pretty messed up for sure It good to have that come out in public I guess because otherwise you would think that that's crazy. Well, it's doing that. I can see that if that's at the Charlotte, a Charlotte police department, is that a capital city? Is Charlotte a capital city? I think it might be. I think it is. Imagine across the United States. Charlotte is not the capital whose rally is. It's the largest city in Australia. And the 14th largest city in the United States. So like, if the 14th largest city in the United States has a police department doing stuff like that, just imagine what's happening across rural America and like places where, and that is the South too, to be fair, you know, Charlotte is in the South. So it's probably more likely that it's happening in places like that. But, oh man. Yeah. So anyways. Psycho chef. Asia's Black Thursday wipes out nearly a trillion dollars in market cap.
