Trump 1% fraud reward vs Treasury TIP

    by Kelsey7f: Donald Trump

The reward math is the part worth sitting with. Trump (realDonaldTrump) says a 1% commission goes to whoever helps recover $1 billion by turning a fraudster in, and it's being folded into the administration's anti-fraud effort. That effort already has a Treasury tip line from July behind it. What the Treasury TIP program hands out is a cut of 10% to 30% of recovered penalties, so 1% comes in under the current scale.
