Eric Lewis federal charges Philadelphia

Eric Lewis just got federally charged in Philadelphia for shooting and killing Police Officer Shane Seiber. The U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of PA confirmed this DOJ update on Fox News. Lewis faces a maximum sentence of life imprisonment on five federal counts tied to firearm theft and the crime itself, plus a state-level murder charge. He reportedly admitted the motive was the victim's race. I wish he got the death penalty exactly. Officer Seiber was 40 years old, an Air Force veteran with 10 years of police service. He leaves behind a wife, a 7-year-old son, and a 3-year-old daughter. His partner was shot twelve times but survived while the shooter continued firing as both officers lay on the ground.
