Mantis All3 autonomous construction robot

    by Terrymiller: London

Real building sites are where Mantis puts in work, and All3 out of London is the crew behind it. The autonomous machine leans on AI to handle components on its own: fastening them, placing them, finishing and inspecting, no human needed in the loop. Actual building data is what trains the system to move through complex sites accurately. Hauling up to 100 kilograms is in the toolkit, plus it can swap tools for different jobs. SPACE AND TECHNOLOGY brought the segment.

This is Mantis, an autonomous robot built for real construction sites. Created by All3, a construction technology company based in London. Mantis is powered by the All3 system, an end-to-end construction platform that combines AI-powered design with robotic fabrication. It operates within the All3 system, performing tasks such as part replacement, fastening, finishing, and inspection, completely without human involvement. With AI trained on real building data, Mantis moves accurately through complex construction sites, can carry up to 100 kilograms, and swap tools for different jobs.
