Wild how Paweł Sasko said on the Cyberpunk 2077 Edgerunners 2 update stream that roughly half of CD Projekt Red's quest team came up through modding The Witcher 2 and The Witcher 3. Those same people are on staff at CDPR now. That's a real path from tinkering in someone else's game to building your own, and I respect a studio that treats its most dedicated players as future hires rather than just free labor.
