Six lionesses teamed up and pinned a male lion to the ground. The furious females even began pulling at the lion king's proud mane. This male lion had apparently been a little too popular with the ladies. He had been mating with different lionesses, and his behavior seemed to upset the females. So they decided to team up and teach their king a lesson. Together, they forced the male lion onto the ground. Two lionesses held him down, one biting near his neck and another grabbing his hind leg. The others stood nearby, ready to join the attack at any moment. If this troublesome male dared to fight back, the rest of the lionesses looked ready to pile on immediately. The Lion King, meanwhile, simply lay there without resisting. Perhaps he was thinking that once the females calmed down, they would finally let him go. After this experience, this overly romantic lion might think twice before causing trouble with the ladies again.
