Asmongold on trans issues and children

    by Silvestre: Asmongold

Asmongold draws a sharp line between what adults do with their own bodies and how society pushes narratives on everyone else. He claims most people genuinely don't care about transgender issues as long as individuals focus on what they make and how they act in life. The only time he objects is when the topic gets shoved onto children or aggressively forced into everyone's face. He also pushes back against retroactively applying trans allegories to works like The Matrix, calling those discussions second-hand. While he says you can dress however you want or change your body, he notes nobody should expect universal agreement or for others to think you're right just because of it. Adults have full rights to decide for themselves, but that doesn't mean expecting the world to agree with every choice made.

Like, I'm not really a big, I don't really care whether somebody's trans or not. Honestly, I think that it's really about like what you, what you make, what you do with your life and how you act. So it's like, okay, you want to be trans. You want, you think that you're a woman, you want to dress up like a woman, do whatever you want. Nobody, nobody, nobody really cares. Like most people don't actually really care. So like the only time that I have an issue with it is when you're putting it on children or you're trying to put it in everybody's face. Like other than that, I don't really give a shit. You can do whatever you want. like you want to you know cut your dick off or you want to put a dick on go ahead do whatever you want to do like i mean don't expect everybody else to agree with it and to think that you're right for doing it and to think that you're a woman but everybody has every right to do whatever they want with their own body as long as they're an adult you know like i don't think it's that big of a deal it's up to them problem is they started retroactively saying the matrix was oh yeah the trans allegory yeah i i don't know about that i mean again i think that all those things are generally about, you know, it's all like, it's all second hand, right?
