FaZe Blaze explains name change and Trenching love

FaZe Blaze admits the shift from FaZe Blaziken to his current handle wasn't a creative choice but a legal necessity. Back when he was trying to push out merchandise with the original name, Nintendo issued a cease and desist because Blaziken is a Pokémon they own. That forced change happened about five or six years ago. He's been known as FaZe Blaze since then, building a reputation as a gaming content creator who blew up during the Black Ops 2 era and had a solid run streaming Warzone on Twitch. Beyond the history, he admits to a genuine obsession with video games, which is exactly why he's so deep into Trenching. He calls it literally the greatest video game he has ever played.

I'm known as FaZe Blaziken or FaZe Blaze. I had to change my name maybe like five or six years ago because Blaziken's Pokemon and I tried making merch from my name on it and I got a cease and desist from Nintendo. So- Yeah, I've been known as FaZe Blaze for quite a while, but I'm a gaming content creator, pretty well known for playing Call of Duty. Blew up during the Black Ops two days and then had another like successful time doing Warzone streams on Twitch. So I'd say that's where most people know me from. I love playing video games. That's why I'm so into trenching right now because it's literally like the greatest video game I've ever fucking played.
