Kendrick Perkins Lakers best offense take
by Yetundejones: Kendrick Perkins
Kendrick Perkins says the Lakers are going to have the best offense in the league. His reasoning: once Luka Doncic builds that pick-and-roll chemistry, the probing and hip-riding stuff, the buckets come, and so do wide-open threes for Austin Reeves, Quentin Grimes and others. The Daniel Gafford and Derek Lively connection is the blueprint. Do you buy it?

Because Luka is so great when he has a dynamic roller that loves to finish at the basket. But also, Luka is different, a different type of guy in the pick and roll. It's not just a head of steam going downhill lob at the basket. He's a guy that likes to keep you on his hip. He likes to probe. So I want to see if he's – I want to see them develop that same synergy that he had with Daniel Gafford, right, and Derek Lively. Like, they knew when Luka was in the pick and roll to always stay ready. The past could come late. It could come early. And so just watching that, because once they develop that, we know Luka's going to get buckets. But outside of that, it's going to open up so many wide-open threes for Austin Reeves, for Quentin Grimes, and others, that I believe the Lakers are going to have the best offensive team in the league, in my opinion, when you think about what they're capable of doing and Luka just being an offensive threat in itself.
