Stoke Space Nova Block 2 rocket
by Terrymiller: Space
Nova Block 2 is the bigger play here, aiming to haul roughly 15 metric tonnes to low Earth orbit by 2029. Both stages get reused for commercial and national-security missions, which fits the goal of frequent launches and lower costs. The smaller Nova Pathfinder targets its first orbital flight in early 2027 to test key technologies for that larger vehicle. Stokes is expanding launch and testing infrastructure while targeting constellation missions alongside the other goals.

Meet Stokes Space's Nova, a new generation of fully reusable rockets designed for frequent, lower-cost launches. The smaller Nova Pathfinder is targeted for its first orbital flight in early 2027, testing key technologies for the larger Nova Block II. Targeted for 2029, Block II is designed to carry around 15 metric tons to low-Earth orbit while reusing both stages. Stokes is expanding its launch and testing infrastructure as it targets commercial, constellation, and national security missions.
