FaZe Blaze on Cented Megga memecoin addiction
FaZe Blaze didn't start trading memecoins because he was suddenly swept up in a new trend, but rather after watching former FaZe members Cented and Megga dedicate 12 to 14 hours daily to the activity. He describes both of them as pretty good trenchers and traders who used to be addicted to Fortnite before finding this new game that ticks for them. Even though he has been in the crypto space for quite a while, he admits he had never traded memecoins before realizing they were literally streaming their trades for half the day. The logic behind his decision comes from understanding how gamers operate; they don't get addicted to games very easily and will play 99% of titles without getting obsessed. True addiction only happens when you find something you really love, leading you to think about it all day and dream about it when you sleep. These dudes who used to play Fortnite found a new addiction in memecoin trading, and seeing that level of dedication made him realize the activity must be pretty good. Since Cented and Megga have been posting content and streaming themselves trading for quite a while, the intensity they showed convinced him to start jumping on board.

A couple of the people that I used to be in phase with, Cented and Mega, I don't know if you trenchers know who those, maybe you do, they're pretty good trenchers, pretty good traders. They had been posting, you know, content and streaming themselves, you know, trading meme coins for quite a while. And I've always had a little bit of interest. I've been in the crypto space for quite a while, but I've just never traded meme coins before. I'd seen them posting about trading meme coins and then I started tapping into their streams and I realized they were literally streaming meme coins for like 12, 14 hours a day, like the whole fucking day. And the thing you need to understand about gamers is gamers, they don't get addicted to games very easily. They really need to find a game that just ticks for them, you know? And it's like 99% of games we'll play and we'll have fun with, but we won't get addicted to. But we find a game that we really fucking love, we'll think about it all day, we'll dream about it when we sleep. And so what I saw is these dudes who used to be in Fortnite, used to be addicted to Fortnite, sensitive and mega that is, they found a new addiction, a new game. I was like, damn, if they're that into it, it must be pretty good. So I started jumping on the meme scope, was absolutely awful. And then I met Sean and he's actually giving me some amazing feedback. Like every single time he's told me to do something in this space, it's been accurate.
