THE LAST DUEL is hitting its fifth anniversary. Matt Damon and Ben Affleck brought Nicole Holofcener on board to handle the perspective for character Jodie Comer. The production team made a deliberate choice to assign Marguerite's narrative arc to a female writer because historical records regarding the events predominantly focus on male figures.
