Tarris Reed Jr. Spurs Finals commitment

    by Yutaofficial: Tarris Reed Jr.

Spurs rookie Tarris Reed Jr. is locked in on doing whatever it takes to help the team win, even though his peers and he weren't part of the squad that reached the Finals last year. He's willing to step into any role needed, specifically focusing on rebounding as a major emphasis from the coach and staff to impact the game. The commitment is clear: he'll gladly take on whatever duties are required and go at it 110% to support the Spurs.

Terrence, how about the role kind of on this team that's kind of there for the taking? Because I know last year, in terms of the traditional bigs, really Luke's the only guy who saw consistent minutes there behind Vic. So that slot being pulpit, however you want to phrase it, just wondering that it's there, it's available. Yeah, I mean, I'm – yeah, I guess you could say that. But it's more like these guys – my mind is like, these guys went to the finals last year without any of us. So whatever I can do to impact the team, whatever my role leads to be on this team, I'll gladly do it with my foot forward and going at it 110%. So whatever coach and staff asked me, and one of the biggest emphasis was rebounding. So that's been the thing that I'm like, hey, I can go out there and rebound. Hopefully I could impact this team and help these guys win. But at the end of the day, it's all about winning.
