The Prince of Egypt Deliver Us opening
by Capucine · old hollywood: Movies
What "Deliver Us" does in THE PRINCE OF EGYPT is take the cruelty of slavery and stretch it into something sweeping and musical. The film's very first stretch already carries a weight that doesn't feel like animation at all, close to unreal. And once Moses is placed in the Nile, the whole thing has grown to biblical size. 🎬
