Vintage Cowboy hat social media warning
Social media platforms lack warning labels that cigarette products carry, even though they offer unique opportunities unavailable elsewhere. These tools can degrade cognitive function and encourage extreme behavior, yet most users joined without being informed of these negative risks. The speaker previously advocated for leveraging social media but maintains a different view on how it is perceived versus reality. For a long time, I advocated for people to leverage social media and I still try to, but like what people, how people see social media and how I see it is so dramatically different because I understood the scope of the opportunity and problem in it, right? Like I knew that this could make me have opportunities that I could have never had otherwise. And I also knew it could turn my brain to mush, right? Like I understood that. Like that had to happen a lot faster where it's like this will turn you into an extremist and your brain will be mush. You know what I mean? We talk about how the Internet is messing with all of us all the time. So if you're into that kind of thing, definitely hit follow.
