Bruce Blakeman vs Kathy Hochul NY Gov Debate

    by Flint: Bruce Blakeman

Fox News coverage of the immigration clash at the New York Governor debate has Bruce Blakeman, the Trump-backed candidate, going hard on Kathy Hochul. He's calling out her defense of people with pending criminal charges like drug dealing and gang activity, asking what these individuals were doing in New York to begin with. Blakeman pointed to his time managing Nassau County where he had a cooperative agreement with ICE to remove over 2,000 migrants with criminal records before Hochul ended that cooperation. The crimes listed among those removed included rape, attempted murder, robbery, burglary, drug dealing, carjacking, and gang activity. The text argues that Blakeman successfully collaborated with ICE to remove criminal undocumented immigrants while Hochul made removing them nearly impossible. It characterizes Hochul as supporting illegal aliens just to gain their votes. The argument concludes that Hochul should be removed from office based on this record.

Kathy Hochul appealed to ICE to let this criminal out. The question that New Yorkers have to ask is what was this guy doing in New York in the first place? It's because Kathy Hochul has made us a sanctuary state. He's got pending charges for drilling, for dealing drugs, poison to our children. And he's a gangbanger. This is who Kathy Hochul is defending. I have a cooperative agreement with ICE until Kathy Hochul said we could no longer cooperate with ICE. We got over 2,000 illegal migrants out of my county with criminal records ranging from rape, attempted murder, robbery, burglary, drug dealing, carjacking, gang activity. That's what I did. Kathy Hochul has taken that ability away from us. That's why things like this happen.
