So my favorite players to watch growing up, so in the early, like in the mid-90s when I first started really watching NBA basketball, obviously it was MJ and Anthony Penny Hardaway. Those were my two guys. Obviously, you know, when we finally got cable, when we finally got cable in our household, we watched WGN. I used to catch the Bulls games on WGN. Oh my goodness, it felt like it was like, It felt like it was like a night out, like going to the movies. Do you think kids still get that feeling, like turning in to watch you? And the only reason I say that, or other stars in this league, is because we didn't have anything else. Nowadays, they have 9 million audience. Yeah, we didn't have anything else. What I'm trying to say for the kids is like, when we tuned in to watch Michael Jordan in the late 80s, 90s, it was like, you know, every night was like watching a special performance. Yeah, it was like watching Michael Jackson at the Grandies or something, like doing the moonwalk. Like it was like that, like I vividly like really remember like sitting on the floor and hearing that do no no, no, no, no, no. Like that intro WGN and I probably had probably till halftime to watch it if it was a weekday, you know, because I had to get up for school. Yeah, it was over with. So like and then Anthony Penny Hardaway. when I watched him, when I saw him play at, I think they were Tennessee, was it Tennessee State at the time? Or was it Memphis State? Memphis State. It was just Memphis State on the uniform? Didn't they say State? It might have just said State on it. Memphis State before it became university. Yeah, before it became university. I was like, I had never seen someone with that height, you know, like vividly, you know, they said Magic was like that, but I didn't get to see Magic like that. I wasn watching the league like that but the way he played I was like oh my goodness this guy is different behind the back passes you know between the legs he was shifting cross dribbles doing things i was like these this guy's this guy's different yeah he really was yeah he was bouncy too right and he was bouncy jitter buggy for a six eight i don't know six six eight yeah like i was a michael jordan fanatic and my brother, not my blood brother, but my guy who I grew up with, actually Brandon Williams, who became the new GM of the Cavs last week. Shout out to you, B. Williams. Shout out. Shout out to you. He spoke the gospel about Penny Hardaway. And he actually was the one who got me into Penny Hardaway. I was like, oh, this guy is the real deal. And then his commercials came out with Lil Penny. And then he had the dope shoes. I can go on and on about MJ and Penny. And then the teams, I would say, yeah, it would be those two teams. Like, growing up, it would be, like, you know, the 94 to 98 Bulls and the 95 to 97 Orlando Magic. Like, those are the two, you know, guys that I love watching. And when I got the opportunity to watch them, like, I always, you know, it was unbelievable to see Penny and Shaq. Like, I had never seen a duo like that in my life. To see the athleticism, you know, of Shaq running up and down the floor, and the 6'9 point guard, bouncy, gun up and down the floor. Then Blue Chips came out. The movie with Shaq and Penny as well. That was amazing. I was going crazy. I was going crazy as a kid. They literally helped me fall in love with the game of basketball. Like, seriously. Like, I thought, you know, like I wanted to be in Blue Chips. I wanted to be in Blue Chips. I wanted to be recruited just like that. Like, you know what I'm saying? So that was a lengthy answer. But yeah, MJ and Penny made me fall in love with the game of basketball.
