Jennifer Welch discusses obsession with Hasan

by Silvestre: Hasan Piker

The obsession is the real story here. Jennifer Welch pushes Hasan to explain why Neera Tanden, Shannon Watts, and Jonathan Chait are so fixated on him. She points out that donors might look unreasonable when they back people who act this way. Every time she logs onto Twitter, it feels like only those two show up. The behavior gets labeled as nuts. Welch even tells people to skip specific streams entirely, noting she doesn't watch Tucker Carlson. There is a genuine curiosity about the psychological drive behind Jonathan Chait's fixation though. It raises questions about what motivates this level of attention.
