This was a fantastic scene to shoot. Are we celebrating something? Happy anniversary. You know I don't drink. It's an opportunity to really see the effects of what she's been warning so many people about. She doesn't have a great relationship with alcohol, and she warns him and she tells him... Drink it. I don't want it. Thomas. Drink it. In this moment here, when she realizes that she's not allowed to not have the alcohol, she decides to double down and show him exactly what he should have been scared for. And that was just such a cool change as an actor to be able to have time to perform. Come here. It's so much fun together to figure out who has the power in different moments. And it literally goes from him to me in a matter of 20 seconds. Very fun to do. It's really better if you sip it. That's expensive stuff. I didn't want it. Remember that. Her alcohol relationship is something that has been abused from her younger years You must truly hate me to wish me to poison myself So we kind of theorize this was something that someone had forced her to do when she went to go and work for a brothel when she was a teenager. You know, I can read every rotten thought you've ever had, you disgusting slug. Catherine. You wanted me to drink because you thought it might make me talk. While I'm talking. You wonder how a nice girl like me learned my tricks? I'll tell you. I learned them in cribs. And so she has a nasty experience when drinking, and she uses it as one of her weapons. I've worked in places you can't even imagine. I got my education. You don't know what you're saying. You're hysterical. Yeah, I mean, it's the first time we get to see that ruthless, powerful, terrifying side of her. And the rage that clearly is coming from deep within. It was a brilliant scene to tackle. And what an opportunity as an actor to just really give it my all. I was being hysterical.
