MrBeast cuts Daniel from Shark Tank deal
The negotiation took a sharp turn when MrBeast proposed removing Daniel from a $600,000 for 24% equity deal with Lori Greiner. Founders offered three parties to jointly accept $600,000 for 24% total equity, yet MrBeast suggested splitting the deal between himself and Lori Greiner only. He stated, "Lori, what if we just do it the two of us? Just cut him out and we just do $600,000 for 24%." He added, "Your exact offer, we just get rid of Daniel. Sorry, I respect you but I think this is right up her alley." Kevin O'Leary referred to Daniel as 'road pizza' in response to his exclusion, noting, "So Daniel, you're road pizza and it's back to 24% for $600,000." Meanwhile, MrBeast noted an additional payment of $200,000 was made for 4% equity, saying, "We just paid an extra $200,000 for 4% but whatever."
