The petrodollar and the Strait of Hormuz face risk no matter which way Trump decides to go. Defense analyst Pravin Sawhney says there are only two paths for America: withdraw and watch a decline, or stay involved and trigger a collapse. Neither option leads anywhere good for the United States. As he put it, If he walks away, there will be a decline of America.
