The Jacksons Enjoy Yourself 1976

by Zimmermann 054: Randy Jackson

The Jacksons hit the stage on The Sonny & Cher Show in 1976 to perform Enjoy Yourself, marking a distinct shift after they left Motown for Epic. This track was their first single under the new label and brought Gamble & Huff into the production chair. It also introduced Randy to the group lineup while Jermaine stayed behind at Motown. Michael took charge of the choreography, guiding his brothers through a performance defined by a Philly soul groove that felt like a freer, funkier chapter for them. The visual presentation showed the brothers together and enjoying themselves, signaling the start of this new era. #RandyJackson
