Trump on Nidal Hasan execution livestream

    by Flint: Donald Trump

Two thoughts, per President Trump: don't show it, or show it. He says that call on livestreaming Nidal Hasan's execution is coming soon, and it lands on him, not the Pentagon. He knows what the military would like to do, but he says the decision is ultimately his. PeteHegseth is on the record wanting it public. The case being made is deterrence: let Islamists and terrorists everywhere watch what waits for anyone who targets our troops. "By showing it, maybe other people won't be doing what he did!" Trump's own description of Hasan, the Fort Hood terrorist: a vicious, violent killer who took 13 people in cold blood and wounded more than 20. Some of those survivors, he says, will never have their lives back in a true sense. Justice is stated to come on December 3rd. The only open question is whether the country watches it happen.
