Tom Homan on ICE staying in New York City
Tom Homan is not pulling ICE out of New York City and the mayor's protests do not change that. His words: the yelling can go on all he wants, it will not stop the job from getting done. ICE stays in New York State, still working law enforcement, and Homan ties that directly to President Trump being in the OVAL OFFICE. He also said he does not know what color the sky is in Mamdani's world, but ICE is not going anywhere. The part that sticks is where the mayor's concern landed. An illegal alien criminal got hurt and that drew more outrage from him than an NYPD detective who was stabbed by people identified as illegal days earlier. A mayor cannot expel ICE from a jurisdiction. No authority for it. Mamdani picked this fight and he is going to lose.
