Coffins found at North Dakota governor's residence
by Lucid Arthur: News
Construction crews at the North Dakota governor's residence turned up something nobody expected: seven coffins holding human remains. The area was Bismarck's first cemetery, active from 1873 to 1877. Inside those graves were a toddler, two teenage boys, two men, and two women. As the Bismarck Monitor notes, most of the original burials were moved to St. Mary's Cemetery and Fairview Cemetery during the 1880s, so these seven were somehow left behind.
