The Jackson 5 kicked off their first national tour at Boston Garden in 1970, bringing five brothers from Gary who already had three number-one hits under their belt. The lineup featured I Want You Back, ABC, and The Love You Save, with Michael Jackson standing front and center at just 12 years old. I'll Be There was scheduled to hit the top of the charts within days of that opening night. Motown had never sent a group as young or moved them so quickly to venues like this before.
