Gary Vee NFT criticism hater era
The internet is a mess right now, and the whole thing feels like a hater era where people build their entire identity around dunking on others. Gary Vee (garyvee) is just an easy target these days thanks to his NFTs, but it's wild how some of those character names sound mean-sounding without context. People mock them for views, yet twenty years ago roasting a children's game or trying to build Sesame Street would have been seen as crazy. We've lost the ability to move on and just appreciate the effort because everyone is too busy chasing clicks. #GaryVaynerchuk #InternetCulture

Gary's been getting absolutely dunked on because of all the things associated. It's just right now it's cool to dunk on Gary, right? It's a little ridiculous where, and I've been writing this piece right recently, where we're in the hater era where there's so many people where, and I think it's a dangerous game to play. There's a lot of people where their whole identity is shitting on other people. And Gary's an easy target right now with the NFTs. And then objectively, a lot of the names of his characters, like they sound meany, you know what I'm saying? like they're easy to make fun of if you don't get the bigger picture, right? It's just, it's so silly though, right? Like, could you imagine 20 years ago, like roasting a children's game? You know what I'm saying? Like that would have been so crazy. You just move on with your day. You wouldn't roast someone for trying to build Sesame Street. That's true. Do you know what I'm saying? Now it's just so cool. And they, the people that roast him, they know that they'll get views for roasting him. It's kind of a messed up thing. We talk about how the internet is messing with all of us all the time. So if you're into that kind of thing, definitely hit follow.
