You can only control yourself. People will inevitably dislike what you say or do no matter the effort. Some folks don't even like ice cream. If you build your identity around those dislikes, happiness becomes impossible. You have to learn that lesson repeatedly.

All you can control is you. You're forced to learn that lesson over and over and over again. It's the same with like, why you shouldn't even really care if people don't like you or like what you say, right? You can't control them. And no matter what you do, people will dislike it. Someone, right? Like my grandpa used to always say, there's like, there's people that don't like ice cream. You know what I mean? Like if you define yourself based off of that shit, like you'll never be happy.
