James Corbett Operation Northwoods
by Gigliola: Joint Chiefs of Staff
James Corbett spent years opening 9/11 truther videos purely for the entertainment value of mocking them, and somewhere in that habit he came across a document. It lives in the George Washington University archives, open to anybody who wants to read it. The name on it is Operation Northwoods. What it describes: a 1962 plan the Joint Chiefs of Staff approved, terror attacks to be staged, some of them on United States territory, with Cuba set up to take the blame #JointChiefsOfStaff

YouTube was the Wild West at that time. And I remember on the sidebar, the recommended videos, once in a while there'd be these crazy, you know, 9-11 truth videos about flying orbs brought down the Twin Towers or what have you. And I would click on them sometimes just for a laugh, just like, what kind of nonsense is this? And, you know, I started doing that. And then eventually, I don't know what it was, I can't remember, but at some point I came across something, I don't know, Maybe something about Osama bin Laden meeting the CIA in hospital in July of 2001. And I'm like, I can't possibly be. And then it prompts me to actually look it up and go, oh, OK, there was a report in French newspapers about that at the time. OK, so there is something from French intelligence about that. Interesting. Or maybe it was Operation Northwoods. There was actually a plan signed off by the Joint Chiefs of Staff sitting on President Kennedy's desk in 1962 to actually start ginning up terror attacks, even including up to and including terror attacks on U.S. soil that they would commit and blame on the Cubans in order to start a war with Cuba. That can't possibly be true. What are you talking about? And then I'd go to the GSU archives, whatever it is, George Washington University archives, and there's the actual document. You can go read it for yourself, signed off on by the head of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, sitting there waiting for Kennedy's signature in order to go ahead with it. Oh, they never taught me that back in public school in Calgary for some reason. We talk about how the internet is messing with all of us all the time. So if you're into that kind of thing, definitely hit follow.
