James Corbett on pre-9/11 trading and the FBI
The FBI hunted down one of the investors behind pre-9/11 trades and interviewed him. His name was redacted in the document until Kevin Ryan unredacted it: Wirt D Walker III, a distant cousin of George W. Bush who also sat on a board with Marvin Bush. That trade was stock options in Securicom, a company that profited from the attacks. The SEC probe became the largest in its history at the time. James Corbett points to three peer-reviewed economics studies concluding advanced trading based on knowledge of the attacks. The FBI closed it out saying Walker had no Al-Qaeda connections, so he couldn't have known. Corbett says that's circular, and honestly the logic is doing a lot of heavy lifting

conclusively, there was advanced trading based on knowledge of the attacks. That is what has been concluded by not one, not two, but three separate peer-reviewed studies in economics journals. There absolutely was advanced trading taking place ahead of the attacks. It resulted in the, at least at that time, the largest SEC investigation in history into that advanced trading. One of the people that they investigated for one of those trades, specifically some stock options that were purchased by an investor into Securicom, which was one of the companies that ended up benefiting from those attacks in the war on terror, that the FBI actually did go through and hunt down this person and they interviewed them. And you can read the FBI document about it where they have carefully redacted the name of this person. But that was unredacted by Kevin Ryan, a 9-11 researcher who discovered that that person that they were interviewing was Wirt D Walker III. And if Walker sounds familiar, that's because George Walker Bush was, of course, a distant cousin of this Wirt D. Walker III, who was also sitting on the board of a business with George W. Bush's brother, Marvin Bush. So literally tied into the Bush family and literally a member of the Bush family distantly and tied in financially, was one of the people who was involved in one of these trades that indicated advanced knowledge of the attacks. But the FBI I dropped that investigation because there was no evidence that this person had any ties to Al-Qaeda. Therefore, he couldn't have known about the attacks, which seems like a pretty self-serving, a circular argument, right?
