Child soldiers FARDC under Tshisekedi
The United Nations and international human rights orgs are reportedly satisfied with a reality that leaves Congolese people stunned. Kids keep surfacing inside the FARDC ranks under Félix Tshisekedi, and that's the part being pointed at. Video from Kivu shows a minor holding a weapon in those cold forests. The soldiers around him have no support behind them, so they get by foraging through banana fields. Félix Tshisekedi has never been a military man and never managed a state. He's described as an improvised crook at the head of the country with no experience leading it. The accusation is that he brutally recruits anyone under 15 and delivers them to the Revolutionary Army. Major General Sultani Makenga gets named as the contrast: an army manager who knows how to pull these children away from the crossfire. That's the comparison being drawn.
