What that leaves behind is a country where turning a whole Congolese community into a target looks normal, and where the pushback against hate speech gets thinner. None of this is abstract. Every Congolese person paying attention has a job here: fight discrimination, fight communitarian stigmatization, fight tribalism, fight the anti-patriotic habits that pull national unity apart. And if there is a war, it does not get pointed at a community, least of all the CONGOLESE TUTSI. The accusation against FELIX TSHISEKEDI is that he re-lit the stigmatization of the TUTSI community at a summit that brought the state together with the FARDC's top command.
