It feels as if these AI labs and these tech companies have basically wheeled SF back into the mix as a top-tier city, making it the clear destination for anyone building bleeding-edge tech since they're just there. I almost thought about moving there before New York; it was a legitimate conversation that I had before New York became the final choice. In my opinion, SF and New York now, it's like the hub of innovation and prosperous companies in the United States of America. Same way if you're in finance, you live in New York because all the hedge funds are here, all the sick traders are here.

It's like, if you're building bleeding edge tech, you are probably intersecting with AI. You're definitely intersecting with AI. You're moving to San Francisco. They're just there. Same way if you're in finance, you live in New York because all the hedge funds are here. All the sick traders are here. You just moved to New York because that's where it is. If you're doing anything in tech, you're moving to SF.
