Logan Paul Whatnot Investment Breakdown
by Tufail: Logan Paul
Logan Paul breaks down the math on his Whatnot bet, starting with the $100,000 he dropped into the Series A when the platform was valued at $90,000,000. He notes they just did a round valued at $20B, and even after selling some shares, his current stake sits around $15,000,000. He clarifies that this gain is paper money or equity rather than cash taken off the table since it hasn't been realized yet. Despite that distinction, he remains convinced about the future potential. He thinks Whatnot could eventually reach a valuation of $100 billion. From where we are now, he anticipates the value of his investment could increase fivefold from current levels.

My best investment has definitely been into Whatnot, the live shopping platform. I put 100k into the Series A when the platform was valued at $90 million. I believe they just did around valued at $20 billion. I think that puts my stake... I did sell some, but I think that puts my current stake around, if I'm not mistaken, like $15 million. So from $100K to $15 million, not so bad. But to be fair, it's just paper money. It's equity. If you haven't taken it off the table, it's fugazi. And I also think we're just getting started. I think whatnot could be a hundred million dollar company. Sorry, a hundred billion, excuse me. It was a hundred million dollar company when I invested it. A hundred billion dollar company. I still think we could 5X from here.
