AI hate vs Jurassic Park skit
by Kelsey7f: Chris Hansen
The AI backlash might be more performance than conviction. An Instagram skit made the point: a guy hides an AI-generated clip inside Jurassic Park, then a Chris Hansen-style confrontation drops the line "I thought you hated AI?" It's funny because it's familiar. A lot of that opposition reads as virtue signaling, herd behavior, or frustration over what being bullish actually costs the average person. And the same energy often lines up with billionaire interests. You can hold whatever opinion you want, but it won't stop the technology from sticking around even if specific companies fold.

I saw this funny Instagram post on the topic of AI that I think is timely where, because the AI hate is at crazy high levels. And it was someone who, it was a girl watching a TV on the screen. And then the context was a title hook basically saying, I let her watch Jurassic Park for the first time, but I threw in an AI clip to mess with her kind of thing. And then some guy comes out of the closet, basically being like Chris Hansen from To Catch a Predator, being like, I thought you hated AI. Why are you still here supporting this AI content kind of deal? And it was pretty interesting. Because there's a lot of flaws in people's just outright, it's kind of virtue signaling. It's tied into like the whole, you know, like if anyone's against AI, the billionaires yeah you know the ultra mega rich wealthy people then it just kind of like it's that same group of yes in a lot of ways and you can have any opinion on it that you want it you don't stop it you're not gonna stop it even if these companies go down this technology is not going away we talk about how the internet is messing with all of us all the time so if you're into that kind of thing definitely hit follow
