Ryan Solana Perps Robinhood Chain

Ryan isn't buying the idea that Solana is just going to be a one-trick pony stuck on perpetual futures contracts. He's actually pushing back hard on that narrative because he thinks distribution is the whole deal for success in the derivatives market. Ryan says Solana has tremendous distribution across both developers and users, plus retail and institutional sectors, so they should be in a good position to compete. The argument here draws a direct analogy to Robinhood and Robinhood Chain, where Robinhood used their massive base of retail users to launch the chain and now traffic flows through it. Ryan sees the same thing happening with Solana since they already have all that established distribution, making them well-equipped to take on the perps market without being limited to a single use case.
