He simply fell asleep inside the time machine as it raced through time. But when he woke up, he found himself on Earth 800,000 years in the future. By then, human civilization hadn't advanced at all. Instead, people lived on the cliffs like primitive tribes, barely surviving by fishing and going out to work. Seeing the villagers hanging from rope ladders like ants, Hart Degen was completely shocked. His appearance also caused a huge stir in the tribe. But because of the language barrier, Hart Degen couldn't communicate with the natives. Luckily, the woman who rescued him had visited some nearby ancient ruins, and learned the long-lost English language from the stone tablets left behind. Only then did Hartdegen finally get the chance to communicate with her. After learning that this strangely dressed man had actually come from the past, Mara was extremely shocked, but she didn't find it too unbelievable. After all, the technology of ancient humans was already far beyond anything they could imagine. But to avoid any unnecessary trouble, Mara didn't tell the clueless villagers the truth. Instead, she made up an excuse to put everyone at ease. But just as she finished speaking, the sound of a distant horn suddenly echoed through the air. The villagers quickly rushed back to their wooden homes, as if they were terrified of the darkness that was about to come. That night, countless lights lit up across the cliffs, making the whole place look especially beautiful beneath the dazzling stars. the shattered moon gave off a faint glow, as if blaming humanity for the mistakes it had made long ago.
