Ethiopia TPLF conflict and Africa's post-colonial wars

The romantic version of pre-colonial Africa keeps getting sold as Wakanda and tribal dances. But look at what half a century without European control actually produced: Rwanda, Darfur, Biafra, Congo, Liberia, Somalia, the Sahel. Recognized genocides, dozens of civil wars, and more than a thousand armed groups still out there. And in Ethiopia the TPLF rebels didn't just talk, they declared "open war" on the government, seized three airports, and pushed toward Afar and Amhara. That's the pattern, not some peaceful past. #Politics
