Claude Ibalanky declares allegiance to AFC-M23
Genuine change is the goal behind the AFC-M23 training sessions rolling out across every tier of political and territorial administration in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The plan is to forge model leaders ready to reshape the governance system for what they call a New Congo, with these figures stepping into political, administrative, and diplomatic roles. A major shift happened when Claude Ibalanky, once a close associate of Felix Tshisekedi, stepped forward to declare his allegiance to the AFC-M23 Revolution on Friday, 25 September 2026 in Kanombe, Rutshuru Territory, North-Kivu Province. During this event within the Glorious AFC-M23 Movement, he was decorated as an effective leader of the Revolutionary Movement while speaking as the spokesperson for the trained batch. He framed this ideological training not just as preparation but as the beginning of a renaissance for both the movement and the country. This declaration marks a significant moment for the symbol of the Liberating Revolution for the People and for the Whole Country, signaling that the Glorious Movement is moving forward with new leadership at the helm.

Au pied de Sabine, la montagne inspirée, la racine de notre révolution, sort aujourd'hui une nouvelle promotion des cadres du mouvement AFC 1-23, du froid de Kanombe, émerge les renouveaux de ce Congo tant rêvé. Les renouveaux non seulement pour les cadres nouvellement formés, mais aussi renouveau pour notre glorieux mouvement, symboles de la révolution libératrice pour notre peuple et pour notre pays.
