Trump CNN Air Force One press access
Word came down that a federal judge found the CNN ban probably stepped on due process, and that put the network's people back on White House grounds. What the order didn't spell out was the press pool riding along on the aircraft. So Air Force One got handled like its own separate door, and CNN stayed off the Knoxville trip for a college football game. Trump's version, meanwhile: he's for an open free press, just not what he calls fake press. He lumped CNN and MSNBC together as outlets that don't give him real news, said the one formerly known as MSNBC rebranded because its ratings were so bad, doubted it turned out one good story in two years, and threw in that he won the election in a landslide. You only want outlets that support you to be a part of the press. No, no, I want real news, not fake news, like you. I want, listen, I want real news. I love an open free press. What I don't like is the fake press, where a group like CNN, you people watching, or MSDNC, which they change, I guess, to now. But you know why they change it? Because their ratings were so bad. What I don't like, wait, wait, quiet. What I don't like is fake news, and they're fake news, 100%. In two years, I doubt they did one good story, and I won the election in a landslide. So what we don't want is we don't want fake news.
