US diesel export ban and record prices
Keith brought up the diesel export ban the US is reportedly weighing, and the record prices that came with it. Here's the part that gets me: even if you never touch a diesel pump, the stuff you order still rides on diesel trucks, bouncing between warehouses before it lands at your door. So the wallet hit doesn't really care what you drive.

Seems like it's heating up, Keith, in terms of the impact on the everyday person. I'm seeing videos from small business owners that are talking about how the prices of just running their business are going up exponentially because of the associated diesel costs. Because, yes, if you don't have a diesel car, of course, you're not really thinking about the diesel price. But so many of the things that you buy every single day from the store are in one way or another connected to the price of diesel. Yeah, any physical good is moving through the use of diesel majority of the time. So when the price of diesel is going up like that, first off, things don't take one hop to get to you. They take multiple hops, right? So you've got one distributor who drops it off at one warehouse and then this thing goes to another warehouse.
