Henrik Zeberg Fed critique

    by Kelsey7f: Federal Reserve

People trust the same Fed to fix things now, even though they flooded a supply crisis with roughly 190 monetary packages after 2020 and predicted inflation would stay under 2.5%. Instead, it hit 9.2%. Henrik Zeberg says this is the core theme of his book The Monetary House of Cards. He argues there is no responsible leadership inside the institution. There is no adult at home in the Fed, he states.

And you can say, yeah, but these are the Fed, right? Guess what? In 2020, they went out and they did what it was like 190 Marshall 8 packages in real money and sending that out into a supply crisis. And they thought they could keep inflation below 2.5%. They got 9.2%. See, these are the guys we are now trusting and believing that they got it all figured out. They got it three times wrong. You could say from 2.5 or up to 9, so almost four times, right? They are not in control of this. and they are looking out the rear window. And when you get to that realization, that's what I write about in my book as well. When you understand that and you realize that there is no adult at home in the Fed and you dare to say that and you dare to say, well, you can just do the study. You can see it. Then you'll see that there is a problem with the kind of hawkishness that you see the Fed is doing right now. And that what we hear and talk about about the yield spiking out of control is simply a very phenomenon or a characteristics of a late cycle sentiment.
