How about, listen, they got to go make a move. Listen, Jameis Winston is an incredibly nice guy, and he's almost impossible to root against, to be quite honest with you. And you see how excited he is, how blessed he feels to have the opportunities that he has received to still remain in this league, to still be wearing an NFL uniform. And God bless him, you know, because, again, he's an incredibly nice guy, very articulate, it's wonderful to listen to him talk, talk about football, talk about life the whole bit. He is absolutely positively great right up until the time he's in the lineup, start, you know, throwing a football for the New York Giants. And then after that, bottom line is that, you know what, who's the hell called them trick-or-treat? Who was that that called them trick-or-treat, Jay? I mean, it's like it's an interception waiting to happen. You knew that ultimately it was going to come, and that's what ended up happening. It was Chris Canty that called them that trick-or-treat. And that's really what we're talking about here. It's one of them situations where you can't rely on him to throw the football accurately and effectively over a period of time without a mistake be you know ultimately coming down the pike James Winston is more entertaining and more interesting in the pregame chatter about football than he is once he behind center That the reality of the situation You see it right there. 0-2 as a starter, 52% of his passes completed. Went 11 for 27 for 111 yards, just completed 41% of his passes Monday night and looked absolutely shocked that he was going to be in the game. These are the realities of the situation. We know that Jameis Winston can make throws and he can make a big play here. Nobody can deny that. But unfortunately with him, you're waiting for the mistake to come down the pipe. You know what I'm talking about, Gerald. You saw him in Tampa. You know it's Louis Riddick. You've been watching him for years. You don't root against him. He's such an incredibly nice guy. But we're talking about your ability to play the quarterback position at a high level, and that doesn't appear to be a part of his M.O. at this particular point in his career. I'm wishing nothing but the best. I'm rooting for him. But do I believe that the Giants should stick with him, plan on sticking with him? Hell no. I don't believe that for one second. I think you've got to go out and try to find another quarterback. That's just how I feel about it.
