Diablo was once a special ops soldier, but turned into a cold-blooded killer for hire after his discharge. Three months ago, the cartel boss paid a fortune to recruit him, relying on his elite sniping skills forged in the military. Diablo eliminated every threat surrounding the drug lord, leaving a clear path for his smuggling empire. The military had their eyes on the syndicate, but the cartel had a flawless intelligence network, causing operation after operation to fail, left with no other choice. The military called in their ace sniper, Brandon. Brandon held an incredible record of 63 confirmed kills, making him a top-tier elite in the eyes of the brass. Learning the enemy had a master marksman of their own, Brandon took the mission without hesitation, swearing to go head-to-head with this legendary Diablo. Not long after, the military intercepted a solid tip. The drug lord was about to show up at a remote cabin in the rainforest. On the day of the operation, Agent Kate led an assault squad, stealthily approaching the cabin, while Brandon hid in the shadows fully armed, keeping a dead gaze on the surroundings, waiting for the perfect moment to counter Diablo. However, the moment the squad stepped inside the cabin, a massive explosion instantly swallowed the team, resulting in heavy casualties. This was when the long lurking Diablo finally struck His true target was Kate who had been a constant pain for the cartel Seeing Kate taking cover behind a vehicle out of his line of sight Diablo played a cruel game of baiting the rescue firing a single shot to shatter a squad member leg The gunshot instantly put Brandon on high alert, but he still could not lock onto the exact position of the enemy. Unable to watch her teammate writhe in agony, Kate risked her life and rushed out to save him. Right at that moment, Diablo fired a merciless follow-up shot, executing the wounded soldier right on the spot. Fortunately, this very shot finally exposed Diablo's location. Brandon quickly returned fire, but the bullet missed by just a fraction. Perhaps shocked that the rival sniper reacted with such lightning speed, Diablo was slightly taken aback. He chose not to drag out the fight, vanishing without a trace and leaving behind a field of bodies. The capture operation was declared a total failure. The military later analyzed the aftermath, concluding an inside mole must have leaked the intel, leading the squad straight into a deadly trap. But they had no time to hunt down the traitor right now, because a far more lethal crisis was looming. For her own safety, the military abruptly cancelled all subsequent missions, and relocated Kate to a highly classified safe house. But they never could have imagined. Diablo already had the coordinates of this exact location. At this very moment he is lurking in the building right across the street, with the cold muzzle of his sniper rifle already aimed through her window.
