Vikings and the Bible contradiction
Understanding the Bible wasn't a quick thing for the Vikings. Their whole history before that was built on raiding, killing, robbing, stealing, and trading slaves, a crude and savage way of life. The scripture's message ran completely against everything they'd been living, so the contradiction took a while to sink in.
