Mando on Bitcoin vs altcoins
There is a clear distinction being drawn between holding Bitcoin and chasing altcoin narratives right now. The speaker admits they do not own Bitcoin, clarifying that this isn't because of any dislike for the asset itself. Instead, the logic is that Bitcoin was great to own during previous bear market periods, but the current phase demands something different. At the start of a bull market, the argument goes that people are believing in more than just global money supply going higher. This means investors are likely to support assets beyond the standard store-of-value play. Consequently, the speaker prefers altcoin stories here because Bitcoin is simply not their primary coin at this specific moment. It's a strategic choice where the coin they hold is determined by what the market believes in rather than a blanket rejection of the major cryptocurrency.

You own Bitcoin? No Bitcoin. Nobody owns this coin. Nobody. Yeah. Nobody in the world owns it. That's the thing, by the way, about a 250K price prediction or whatever. It's like, it doesn't even matter. It doesn't even really matter. It's like, so you guys could go to 10K or 5K at Bitcoin, like under ATH. Like, how do you think it could be 150 with Bitcoin at 100K? I just think the Bitcoin story is it's just become a bit more complicated not that I don't really like it over like the long term but this what's driving crypto right now I don't think is a global liquidity going higher in fact you just saw like the Fed raise rates it feels like it's actually more the utility stuff or at least people believing that the utility stuff might be coming a bit more so I prefer, and privacy. So I actually prefer altcoin stories here. There have been other times. Bitcoin, during a bear market, it's great to earn. But right now, at the start of a bull, you've got to think that people are believing in more than just global money suppliers going higher. Which I think is good, by the way. Yeah, and I think they are. So, it's not that I don't like it, I just don't think it's going to be the coin that is like my coin right now.
