The argument goes that we're biologically inclined to spot truth, which is exactly why a control-based system can't let certain topics be said out loud. And it's not force keeping those silences in place, it's social enforcement. A show makes the case that voicing dissent, whether in a room or a classroom or a whole country, comes with social and financial consequences. And that's why all this shit is so dangerous. That's why the whole R word talk that we had, right? It's not about the word. It's that it's the effectiveness of unified control, right? And so like I said to you in the voice and I was like, human beings, we're wired to like detect truth. We can feel it. And so if you're going to have a system of evil, you have to make it so that things can't be said. And it's got to be self-governing, right? Like we control ourselves. And that was evident in university because I would always play like the contrarian because I think that if we're all agreeing and we're nodding our heads, why are we here? like what what is the point of this right so if i went to the class which i didn't do all the time i would put my hand up and be like i would always try to poke the hole in it because i'm like i feel like that's my job if i'm the only one put my hand up and instantly like people would make judgments or opinions with very little context and uh that's because that because that was the set social norms for that situation and that's so powerful man because now think about all of the converging forces that make that even more powerful right you've got the social pressure of like i'm young i'm trying to figure my life out i don't want the opposite sex or whatever i'm into to not like me so there's a cost there especially with in school way more women than men so like true basically every guy in the class wanted to stop sitting beside me because he's like the girl he's like the girls don't like you because you do this shit man and i'm like i hear you uh i had a girlfriend at the time i was like i don't care um and then two they're paying for it right so if there's any sort of academic repercussion from it as well. There's also the financial implication that's there too. That's dictating their subconscious as well, right? So it's an incredibly effective mechanism for shifting and shaping thought and opinions. And that's so effective that that's why Canada is what it is right now, in my opinion.
