Fox's take on Trump and Iran is basically: real presidents don't get graded on short-term political exposure. Great presidents are not determined by short-term political vulnerability. Are there Republicans distancing themselves from the war? Absolutely. Is the Iranian war going to hurt Republicans in the midterms? It might. But President Trump took a courageous decision. He wasn't concerned with short-term political vulnerabilities. He was concerned with future generations not incurring a threat from Iran. President Obama didn't have the courage to do it. President Biden didn't have the courage to do it. President Obama gave us a nuclear deal that had sunset provisions. So, yeah, some of our elders, they'd be just fine, but our kids, they're screwed. This president said, I'm going to take this on, even though there are risks. He is exactly right when he said, others have talked, I acted. Others spoke of peace, I made peace. Others talked of courage, America has shown it.
